1. Meditation
Meditation is the anchor of my wellness routine. It doesn’t have to be long, hard, or overly complicated. Sometimes it looks like a longer Guided Grounding session like we do in my Membership, other times it’s 3 deep breaths in the middle of the day while my two cutie kiddos climb all over me.
2. Fermented Foods
I’m fully convinced that there is a reason why our bellies are called our cores. Your gut health influences EVERYTHING—your energy, mental health, mood, appearance and more. This is why I’m huge on fermented foods. They contain live probiotic bacteria to promote a happy, healthy gut which we all need for good digestive health. My favorites are sauerkraut, pickled radishes (I make these myself, recipes in both my books!), and kombucha. A little bit goes a long way here!

3. Joy
I ALWAYS make sure I schedule things I truly love on my calendar. These are what light you up and make you feel like YOU. Schedule them in! Live music, festivals, travel, meals with friends are big ways I stay well! I may not sleep as much those nights but my cup is filled up in other ways!
4. Rule of 5 Plate
The Rule of 5 Plate is a meal template I created in my second book Thin from Within. It’s for busy folks who don’t want to think about what they’re eating, but want to feel great in their gut. Daily Dose is amazing for this! The Rule of 5 includes greens, cooked veg, protein, fermented food, and healthy fat. Usually I just add a little of the ferment to my Daily Dose meal and tada a Rule of 5 Plate
5. Brain Balancing
Brain Balancing is one of the best tools I use to come into my body and get present. It helps to be more in our parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) instead of our sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight), where we spend way too much of our time. You can check out videos on YouTube for this or join me in my Guided Grounding Membership!

Exactly How & Why You Should Detox
If you’ve upleveled your nutrition and still aren’t seeing or feeling results, toxins could be the culprit. The toxins we face daily has increased tenfold in the last centuries.
Indulging without the Guilt
One of our top goals when working with clients is helping them find a happy balance to enjoy their guilty pleasures without having the guilt afterwards.
Clients can have their cake and eat it too by creating structure around their indulgences.
Our head of nutrition, Erin Parekh said it best when on vacation:
“Embracing every morsel of my crispy fries and red wine brought great joy, but the truth is, I never fully went “off plan”. This made it easy to get back on track after vacation and still feel great after having my indulgences”.
Here are SWW’s tips on how to enjoy your indulgences and still stick to your meal plan to keep you on track.
Stop Chugging Milk — Eating This Surprising Food is Actually The Key to Avoiding Osteoporosis
If you’re at risk for or have osteoporosis, you may have been warned that salt is bad for your bones, since a high-salt diet increases calcium loss in the urine. It’s a theory that has been promoted for years, but there’s actually little scientific basis for it.
