1. Meditation
Meditation is the anchor of my wellness routine. It doesn’t have to be long, hard, or overly complicated. Sometimes it looks like a longer Guided Grounding session like we do in my Membership, other times it’s 3 deep breaths in the middle of the day while my two cutie kiddos climb all over me.
2. Fermented Foods
I’m fully convinced that there is a reason why our bellies are called our cores. Your gut health influences EVERYTHING—your energy, mental health, mood, appearance and more. This is why I’m huge on fermented foods. They contain live probiotic bacteria to promote a happy, healthy gut which we all need for good digestive health. My favorites are sauerkraut, pickled radishes (I make these myself, recipes in both my books!), and kombucha. A little bit goes a long way here!

3. Joy
I ALWAYS make sure I schedule things I truly love on my calendar. These are what light you up and make you feel like YOU. Schedule them in! Live music, festivals, travel, meals with friends are big ways I stay well! I may not sleep as much those nights but my cup is filled up in other ways!
4. Rule of 5 Plate
The Rule of 5 Plate is a meal template I created in my second book Thin from Within. It’s for busy folks who don’t want to think about what they’re eating, but want to feel great in their gut. Daily Dose is amazing for this! The Rule of 5 includes greens, cooked veg, protein, fermented food, and healthy fat. Usually I just add a little of the ferment to my Daily Dose meal and tada a Rule of 5 Plate
5. Brain Balancing
Brain Balancing is one of the best tools I use to come into my body and get present. It helps to be more in our parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) instead of our sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight), where we spend way too much of our time. You can check out videos on YouTube for this or join me in my Guided Grounding Membership!

Fast Tracking Mental Clarity, Weight Loss & Cellular Repair with Smart Fasting
Fasting usually requires abstaining from food or drinks (aside from calorie-free beverages like tea, water, or coffee) to get the benefits. And there are so many ways people choose to go about it. Some may just extend their overnight fast a few hours past breakfast. Others may go multiple days as with water fasts. I know you might be thinking, WHY WOULD I DO THAT?!
Fasting Without Deprivation is it possible?
A fast mimicking protocol is a version of fasting where you can still eat. Sound counterproductive? It’s not. The idea is to eat low-calorie and lower-carb foods rich in plant proteins and healthy fats. It’s far from just cutting calories a few days a month because there is a big focus is on the types of foods you eat (and luckily, they also happen to be delicious).
